Hill of Crosses
A worth while day trip whether you take a tour bus or get there on your own. It is estimated that there are over 100,000 crosses that have been left by tourists or Catholic pilgrims. You can purchase wood crosses to leave upon arrival for very cheap. To get to the Hill of Crosses from Vilnius, take a train to Siauliai and walk to the bus station. Go inside the bus station and ask for the bus schedule for the Hill of Crosses. You should be handed a piece of paper with the bus schedule to and from the stop. Once you get off at the bus stop, walk about 15 minutes to the Hill of Crosses. It is pretty easy and you can just follow the road with the tour buses!
